Runaway Jury

Yes, I've read it before - many years ago.

And, yes, I absolutely LOVED it this time.  I laughed, I was eager to know What Happens Next (even tho I knew the surprise outcome), I listened intently to the ins and outs; oh, it was so intriguing and awesome.

It's actually quite preposterous.  What the defense for the tobacco company did to ensure a victory, but oh my goodness, it made for great reading.  Because the reader does not understand that there is a big twist at the end AND there are reasons for what happens in the jury room and courtroom.  I was gobsmacked and fascinated by Grisham's book.  I've been disappointed in his latest books over the last few years, but this was worthy of a second read.

FOUR STARS.  Oh, it's a good one.
